I love these little pizza chips! They are a perfect snack to help satisfy your munchies! Plus my kids LOVE them and so do I!
I saw this recipe floating around Facebook and had to try it out! However, how I saw it on FB need some tweaks in order to get what I envisioned. They are packed with flavor and I do recommend making them!
- 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
- Mini Pepperonis (3 per chip)
- 1 tsp Garlic power
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp Dried Basil
- Salt & Pepper
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Mix cheese and seasonings together in large bowl
Fill mini muffin tin with the cheese mixture *I did 1 tbsp in each but doing less the chips will be more crispy but then you’ll have some left over cheese then also. * The bad thing about this is all the spices end up at the bottom so with each scoop try to pay attention to the amount of spices.
Top each one with 3 pepperonis
Push down on each chip to compress a little (not sure if this really made a difference)
Bake until the edges are brown and the cheeses is bubbling. The time will depend on how much cheese you put in each one. I had mine in the oven for probably around 10 minutes but I did take it out a few times to check on it.
They pop right out and you can enjoy with some pizza sauce!
Also makes a fun party treat!
I stored mine in the fridge in an air tight container.
