Lets Stretch!


Stretching is so important for your muscles and your progress.

Stretching keeps the muscles flexible, strong, and healthy, and we need that flexibility to maintain a range of motion in the joints. Without it, the muscles shorten and become tight. Then, when you call on the muscles for activity, they are weak and unable to extend all the way. {www.health.harvard.edu/staying-healthy/the-importance-of-stretching}

Try out these stretches after your all warmed up (and /or after your cool down). Remember NEVER stretch cold muscles. I once heard it said to think about taffy… when taffy is warm you can stretch and bend the taffy. BUT when its cold the taffy will crack and break. Your muscle is the taffy :0

Have a great warm up and start working on your flexibility!

Hold each pose for 30 secs
